A traveling punk rock bard who found a few empathetic hearts within the stuffy bookworms of Sharlayan and joined their local garage band. Together they pushed the limits of what could be achieved with the power of song and heart! Now the bassist for several different bands, he spreads mischief and music wherever he goes.A cheerful man, Gale is always willing to help out his friends while living his best life. A vagabond who refuses to stay in one place for very long, he currently works for the Steelgrin Sirens as general kitchen staff, mostly washing dishes. When he's not playing his guitar or cleaning, you can always find him working out or swimming or agitating the ruling class!

He had a traditional upbringing, taken at the age of fourteen to be trained as a warder. Swift and stealthy, he became a skilled bowman able to fell trespassers from far off with a single well aimed shot. Though as he traveled the edges of his territory, the songs of caravans and trailblazers would serenade him more than the duty he was charged. Of the songs and tunes he heard, many stayed with him and peppered his music as he serenaded the women of his village. His song tempted many into his section of the jungle, the dissonant melodies drawing in curious ears to their demise.At some point, Gale came into the possession of a ukulele that gave him the tool he needed to bring more life to his music. Taking from the travel songs he learned, he would mash up different tunes to create his own brand to entertain himself. Soon it wasn’t enough to simply pull from the same tired old songs he heard on the roads, and the wanderlust kicked in. Deciding to join a stray caravan, he offered his services as an entertainer to convince them to take him wherever it was they were traveling to... And so his journey began.Gale has traveled the breath of the star to hear the songs of many different cultures and creeds. From the allied tribes like the ixali and kobold, to the farther city states of Raz-at-han and Doma. It was only within the last twenty years that he settled down in Old Sharlayan to put his music knowledge to the test. Joining a rock band, he and his crew built DIY venues to disturb the peace with loud music and a mind to push the boundaries of just how much akasa affects bardic magic.Introduced to Blitzball through his time in Sharlayan, he has become an avid if not rabid fan. Having not the time to join a team, with his schedule dedicated to his bands, he does his best to watch the local teams practice. Enjoying a good amateur match when he can, he dons his face paint and team colors when the season matches begin.Recently, Gale has traveled back to Eorzea with his husband to wander once more and see how the world has changed. A chronic couch surfer, he has a vast network of contacts to help him get around. Where he goes next is anyone’s guess.

■ Leather & Lace: An experimental project, Gale sings in tandem with his husband as they explore everything involving love. Willing to break the mold of genre to blend dirty bass and guitar riffs with growling vocals and husky prose, they push the gambit of a sound that will leave you breathless. Huge supporters of the Allied Societies, they work to uplift and bring awareness to the music and arts of the various tribes across the star.■ Seconds Left: Drawing on the sounds of the Kobold and Sahagin from their native lands in La Noscea, heavy drums and sick guitar riffs carry strong vocals into the winds and across turbulent waters. Heavy rock vibes mingling with rolling waves create a mash-up of sound that definitely rocks the boat. A band comprised of members within The Steelgrin Sirens, they seek out rumors and try to support movements that work to shutdown the illegal trafficking of spoken.■ Adrenaline Junkies: A now mostly defunct group that consisted of Sharlayan scholars, they pushed the limits of the Studium's patience. Screaming lyrics and heavy drums carried across campus as guitar and bass shred riffs that scratched the eardrums. Familiar with the hardships of the Gleaners, they were front-liners in the push for fair wages and fair hours... Or else.■ Rabble Rouser Nation: The RRN is a circuit that contains all the bands Gale drifts between. A closed network of singers and musicians from all walks of life, they maintain a connection through their love of pushing boundaries. Consisting of groups that push the limits of music based magic steeped in 'Akasha', most if not all are dedicated to underground movements within the various City States across the star.

Words that move the heart and stir the spirit also stoke passions and drive the beast.
